Independent Producers Network is pleased and excited to be producing films, and film-based interactive titles in southern California. The company’s founders believe the region is ideal for film and video production, and offers a true alternative to the skyrocketing costs of Hollywood based production. Says Maris, "There is a tremendous diversity of locations: old growth forests, frontier towns, farmlands, rugged mountains, and a variety of urban settings, all within an hour’s drive of our Beverly Hills studio, and all without the inflated production costs of the Los Angeles area. It’s a very film-friendly environment, and a wonderful place to live and work."

Independent Producers Network will shoot at least one more film during 2003, and is also providing contract film and video production and post production services to other companies. Based on the expected financial success of the company’s first projects, Independent Producers Network is planning an expanded production schedule for 2003.
